SOP Day 2 Reflection
Posted January 14, 2012on:
Today was our second day of our Saturday Outreach Program and today, out job was to try and help the children there with their homeworks in the different subjects. We were able to help in math, science, english and many other subjects. After we helped them in their homework, we played some games like Monopoly. Another game that we played was “PANTS”. The objective of this game is to give an example of a place, animal, name and thing for a specific letter. The one with the highest score at the end of the game wins. After we played our games, it was our turn to perform for them this week after they performed for us last time. We sang a few songs for them and after our performance, we ate. Today, I learned that even the smallest things you do for someone, like helping them in doing their homework, can have a big effect on the person that you did it to.
